Changing Places

Just an FYI I'm switching domain hosting and such. I'm also going to leave blogger for the wonders of Word Press. I have help with this move so here's hoping it's seamless for you, my faithful readers. Don't worry, you'll still find me here at www.dreadpiratealice.com. Hopefully you wont even notice the change. I'm told it is mostly pain free. We'll see.

Crap!

I've had a hankering for chocolate chip cookies for some time now. But I either didn't have chips or I ran out of eggs, or something was missing when I went to make them. This evening at about 11pm I decided to make the cookies. And it seems the past few batches just haven't been right. The cookies are so thin and the batter has been runny. Well, it's decided, the problem with the cookies is LIGHT BROWN SUGAR. Baking chocolate chip cookies with light brown sugar ruins the whole recipe. I am not going to settle for light brown next time I'm at the store. I will hunt down DARK BROWN SUGAR if it kills me. NO more cookies like this...

My sweet Mabel. Sometimes she puts up with me and endless photography sessions. Most pictures don't get uploaded because my living room is so dark and the flash makes her eyes glow creepy like. But this one, even with its yellow glow, makes her look like the sweet kitty I know and not the kitty who avoids all people and hisses at visitors.
